Chris, I used to live in Manchester Ct., and I used to see you all the time in the Hungry Tiger and around the Hartford area back in the early 90's. You were a great up and coming blues guitarist back then and I haven't seen you since. I found out about your Bank ST. Cafe gig in New London, Ct. too late, so I missed it. That SUCKED. I'm looking forward to the next time you get back in CT. Have a good one. Lou.

Hey "TOAD" ! What's Up....Been a long time. I think the last time I saw you was at the East Side Tavern after catching a Gary Moore show in NYC back in 1992. I'll never forget the old days...you playing the hell out your axe just about anywhere you could find a plug for your amp.
It's great to hear you're doing so well. I had to look you up on the web to see what your up to these days. I downloaded a Warren Haynes show from 1991 at the Wetlands, NYC and was blown away when I my old friend Chris Tofield sat in on the encore "Look On Yonder Wall". NICE JOB OUTA YOU ! ! ! ! I'll make sure that Vedo and I catch your show at the Red Door and Dawn's in March 07.

Continued success my brother and we'll see you soon. Till then, take care.

Miss the many good ole times hearing you back in CT! I'm grateful I did catch up with you this year when oportunity came. It's a blessing hearing you play ~ and better one since it's done so, sitting and sharing with a friend. Happy for your success, and grateful for your friendship and kindness extended always! Yet it is great, seeing that audiences can hear "the best blues in town", anywhere, and even in countries now ~ and hear it played with with that same kind of heart.
Glad your close to tracking your next CD, and sorry for your losses this year. I hope we sit sharing again soon. Then I can take my seat for yet another oportunity to hear you play, and you might just hear one loud voice, shouting play "Tomorrows Gonna Be A Better Day"...
Another year soon ends, and before it does I'll say ~
Thanks always, MERRY CHRISTMAS & God Bless... "CARPENTER GUY"

Hi Chris, you may not remember me but I am a good friend of Dennis's here in Connecticut...I was the drummer in our old band at Holly J's. God, was that a long time ago. Anyway, I was checking out your site and just wanted to congratulate you in all that you have accomplished in music. It's good to see you finally getting your due. All that hard work finally paid off! Right now it is 5:30 EST on 4/28 so you're probably just starting to play in Laughlin, Nevada as I write this. Fantastic. It was nice knowing you while you were here. I hope to get a chance to see you on your next swing thru Connecticut (I was supposed to go with Dennis the last time--but couldn't make it). Take Care and Best Wishes!! Dave

April 4, 2005

Indeed, Chris is one of the most talented blues guitarists we've ever heard. We first meet up with Chris many years back now, jamming with Jaimoe of the Allman Brothers in Storrs, CT. The only thing bigger then his talent, is his heart! Chris made our dreams come true years later in the fall of 2000. We were lucky enough to have his talents for our most special day - but blessed even more by his wonderful friendship.
We miss ya Chris, and hope to see you soon. There is nothing better then a chance to hear what meant so much to us again, and catch up with a friend! God Bless... Bruce & Catherine
